Event Description:

The Problem of Evil: One of the biggest challenges to the Christian faith is tackling the problem of evil in the world. Many, especially young men and women, have doubted God’s love and power because of the prevalence of evil all over the globe or tragedy in their lives. We use an argument posed by David Hume to look at how our all good and all powerful God can allow for evil. In this session we explore philosophical and theological defenses of how a good God does exist despite the presence of evil in our world. We make a case that the Bible gives the best explanation for the intellectual and personal problem of evil in the world
